At Ear Wax Care, we have heaps of experience looking after our customers’ ears. We operate at a range of locations across the UK and have a team of NHS trained clinicians who have been serving communities since 2014. Our friendly team is here to advise you on the best ways to look after your ears.
If you have a build up of ear wax, it is possible that you will experience a range of symptoms including having an earache, hearing ringing in your ears (tinnitus), or feeling like you have blocked ears. In extreme cases, you may even experience an infection.
The next step you might take is to go to a pharmacy and buy ear drops to break down excess ear wax. These liquids which are used to remove and soften wax are available in a range of substances. For example, there are oil-based compounds, water-based compounds, or a combination of the above and non-water.
At Ear Wax Care, we suggest to our customers that they use olive oil drops to soften and remove wax. This is an easy process as all you have to do is add 2 to 3 drops to your ears, whilst lying on your side. You should repeat this 3 to 4 times a day, for 3 to 5 days. Over the course of 2 weeks, you’ll notice that the wax will fall out of your ears.
If you find that over-the-counter drops or this at home solution don’t work for your ears, then we would recommend that you get in touch with our expert team here at Ear Wax Care to find out how we can help. We may suggest that you try out microsuction, which is a safe, speedy and highly effective way of unblocking your ears.
